Job Description

Role Name - Process Engineer - Mechanical Maintenance

Role purpose -

To maintain the Equipment in order to get smooth operation by following the maintenance system

Reporting to - Deptt. Section Head Maintenance

Execution of Safety audit findings

Maintenance of Plant and Machinery

1. To deliver machine to production after breakdown maintenance in term of quality & time.
2. Execution of improvement activities.3. To Generate & maintain machine maintenance records 4. Execution of Preventive & Predective Maintenace5. Conducting TBM for Critical Machine1.Plan V/S Actual gap against machine maintenence time . 2 Plan V/S Actual gap against improvement plan3.No. of Break down after maintenance4. Breakdown % & Analysis 5. Maintaining TBM records

To track the number of abnormalities in the section and closure on time to reduce the down time1. Abnormality record- pending list To generate & update machine maint. records in Compliance to IATF, ISO - 14001,TQM & TPM systems .No. of NCR's in internal / external audits.

Project Supervision of execution activities in shiftsTo ensure the completion within agreed budget and time.

Budgeting & control1.To issue materials from store in consultation with Section head for controlling R & M budget

2. To generate ideas to reduce R & M cost & implement1. R & M cost 2. No of Kaizens related to R & M cost reductionInventory of sparesTo give ideas related to standardization of inventory spares through kaizens1. No of Kaizens related to inventory reductionManpower Development

To do analysis of repeatative breakdown through PDCA/QC circles.

1.Number of QC circles
2.Number of PDCA's.To provide onjob training to technicians in order to improve their technical skill. 1.Number of suggestions.2. Skill Matrix score sheet

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Fair knowledge of Maintenance management practices

Skills - Managerial, Communication, 360'

Leadership and motivation.

Qualification - B.E. ( Mechanical).
