Role Definition       
   We are looking for an innovative    engineer   ,    who    will be working    to    develop     Engineering applications that are used by Caterpillar employees    in the office and factory    operations   . Incumbent s primary responsibility is Engineering    web based (or)    onprem     application development   . They will also mentor & guide a team of    Caterpillar Engineers    to develop these applications. They will be    leveraging     ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and SQL database    technologies    and while exploring emerging technologies to solve business problems. They will work to host these in    Azure   cloud environment    and as needed use    onprem   systems too   . The incumbent will be interacting with the process partners on requirements clarifications. Caterpillar encourages innovation and a can-do attitude to delight the customers.       
     
   Responsibilities       
   Gathering and    analysing   user/client requirements to create the software requirements specification (SRS) document.       
   Writing and implementing source codes and enhancing code samples of existing systems.       
   Testing and debugging    cloud based or    onprem   system    software using different tools/methods available to improve code quality and optimize system performance.     
         Optimizing     the infrastructure by working with Caterpillar IT team   .        
   Collaborating with other teams to provide    post production   support.        
   Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

       8   + years of experience with b   achelors or    m   asters     degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.     
       Proven experience in deploying applications using    Azure App    Services ,IOT   , Azure Functions
