As an EY Consulting SOX Staff, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored solutions to clients from diverse industries, contributing to a better working world. Your responsibilities will include: - **Delivery**: - Conducting test of operating effectiveness of SOX controls for multiple processes across clients. - Participating in process discussions, preparing process flows, narratives, and risk & control matrices. - Providing regular status updates to Seniors and documenting testing workpapers as per defined quality benchmarks. - Demonstrating problem-solving skills and application-based approach during client engagements. - **Client Management**: - Developing strong relationships with clients and onshore client teams. - Maintaining proactive communication and excellent rapport with clients. - **People Related**: - Displaying teamwork, integrity, and leadership. - Collaborating with team members to set goals and responsibilities for engagements. - Utilizing technology & tools for continuous learning, sharing knowledge, and improving service delivery. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - Exceptional command of spoken and written English. - Global mobility and willingness to travel to onsite locations. - Strong analytical, organizational, and consulting skills. - Solid academic background in Business, Accounting, or relevant field. - Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, data analysis, and validation. - Team player with strong interpersonal skills. - Effective prioritization skills to achieve optimum results. To qualify for this role, you are required to have: - 2-3 years of work experience in a Big 4 or professional firm, or relevant industry experience in risks & controls. - CA, bachelor's in commerce, or MBA. - Understanding of SOX and COSO framework. - Strong academic background in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, problem-solving skills and innovative thinking are highly valued in this role.
