Job Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The SLP works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support clients in improving communication and quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Provide therapy sessions to individuals and groups as appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports. Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to support holistic care. Educate clients and families on communication strategies and home programs. Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings (if applicable), and care planning sessions. Stay updated with the latest research and practices in speech-language pathology. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards. Requirements Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders. Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a client-centered approach. Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
