Role Overview:

The Principal will lead the Nursing College, ensuring academic excellence, compliance with regulatory bodies (INC, State Nursing Council), and smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be an experienced academic leader with a strong understanding of nursing education and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee academic and administrative functions of the college.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Nursing Council and State Nursing Council norms.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage faculty and staff.
• Develop academic calendars, timetables, and quality standards.
• Liaise with affiliating universities, government authorities, and accreditation bodies.
• Promote student welfare, discipline, and extracurricular engagement.
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

• M.Sc. Nursing with at least 15 years’ teaching experience, including 5 years as Vice Principal or Principal in a recognized Nursing College.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation processes.
