Principal in Management

As the Academic Head of the Management Department, your role involves providing visionary leadership in planning, implementing, and monitoring academic programs. You are responsible for ensuring continuous curriculum upgradation in line with industry and global management education standards. Foster innovation in pedagogy, research, and learning technologies to enhance the learning experience for faculty and students. Your key responsibilities include: - Promoting interdisciplinary learning, case studies, live projects, and experiential learning initiatives. - Encouraging a strong research culture among faculty and students. - Leading all academic and administrative functions of the Management Department. - Supervising recruitment, development, and performance evaluation of faculty and staff. - Ensuring compliance with DAVV and other statutory/regulatory bodies. - Managing budgets, financial planning, and effective utilization of resources. - Implementing policies, rules, and disciplinary measures in alignment with institutional norms. - Overseeing student admissions, mentoring, academic advising, and welfare initiatives. Qualifications required for this role: - Advanced degree in Management or related field. - Proven experience in academic leadership roles. - Strong understanding of industry and global education standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to foster innovation and research culture. - Knowledge of budget management and compliance requirements.
