Principal Engineer, VRF Cycle Design, Platform Development

Role Overview: As a Refrigeration Cycle Development Engineer, your main responsibility will be to study global PV in order to create refrigeration cycle variants that meet performance standards and requirements for different regions, all while considering cost targets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop VRF cycles and collaborate closely with other teams to design, validate, and verify cycles. - Lead a team to deliver all technical documents related to cycle design. - Establish and update VRF cycle standards. - Participate in VRF product cost reduction, maintenance, and improvement activities. - Troubleshoot customer complaints and benchmarking activities. In addition to the above, you will also be expected to: - Track VRF product development trends in alignment with the company's VRF roadmap. - Participate in VRF product-related technology studies with the advanced development team. - Discuss annual performance targets and key focuses with your supervisor. - Conduct performance reviews as scheduled. - Create personal annual training plans to enhance your competencies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in refrigeration, thermal engineering, or mechanical engineering. - Minimum of 10 years of work experience in VRF development within an HVAC company. - Experience in VRF cycle control and ability to define refrigeration cycle control logic. - Proficiency in project management and the use of cycle simulation tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree or above. - Familiarity with HVAC product regulations such as CE, CB, GB, UL AHRI, IEC. - Fluency in speaking and understanding the Japanese language.,
