Principal engineer- Layout

Must have requirements:(Please apply only if you meet these requirements)

1. Basic engineering expereince to develop plot plan, FEED engineering layout from scrach. Min 3 years of subject matter expertise in this area
2. Relevant

   engineering experience

   to develop chemical/ fertilizer/ detergent/soap /surfactants plants.
3. Technically

   sound with piping engineering

   (Basic engineering and Detail engineering) and able to execute large volume and complex projects

4. Cross functional management expertise with Process, E & I, Project management, Client representative

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Functions as subject matter expert in layout engineering for Ballestra projects.

• Expert in basic engineering and Develops plot plan for FEED /Feasibility or new plant engineering from geographical survey.
• Understands EPCM methodologies and works with cross functions to control the project schedule, budgeted hours and quality.
• Manages project approvals for critical deliverables, able to thoroughly review the detailing engineering deliverables
• Accountable to resolve technical problems for all value streams engineering
• Understands clients needs; identifies and addresses design parameters and problems; develops and implements solutions.
• Interface with other area leads, Senior Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Managers.
• Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company.
• Performs Inter-discipline & discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group.
• Need to participate in internal/external kick-off meeting and progress meeting with client.

Experience

• 15-20 years of experience within piping engineering for EPC projects specifically on basic engineering.
• Subject matter expertise for basic engineering of atleast 1 area - Detergents, Soaps, Surfactants, Sulhuric acid plant, Phosphoric acid plant, Anhydrous hydrogen floride, Fertilizers like DAP/NPK
• Experienced in estimation of engineering hours for basic and detail engineering
• Knowledge of Interdisciplinary Work Processes/Interface/Deliverables
• Expertise with codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the design and construction of process plants
