Job Description

Ballestra India is looking for passionate individuals willing to associate themselves with the growing organization in India. Roles & Responsibilities: Analysis of the contractual scope of work giving evidence of any critical area to the engineering disciplines involved. Participation to Hand-Over meeting, Kick-Off meetings. Coordination of periodical engineering coordination meetings with interested parties (process and detail engineering departments, customers, suppliers). Definition with the technical disciplines of the project document list. Coordination with the project manager and the planner for engineering activities planning to be included in the project schedule. Support to the technical disciplines in defining the battery limits of the engineering sub-contracts. Coordination of the correct flow of technical information to support the technical disciplines of the interested parties (internal departments, customers, suppliers) for carrying out the normal engineering processes and solving problems through calls and/or weekly meetings. Support to technical disciplines for particular review activities (e.g. 3D Model review); Preparation of project coordination documentation (e.g. project engineering plan, environmental data, equipment list); Support to the planner for monitoring the delivery time of the planned documentation to meet the project deadlines. Support to the project manager in monitoring the engineering manhours spent (actual vs planned) and definition of the manhours to finish (forecast) with the technical disciplines. Support to the technical departments during the engineering phase of the equipment suppliers. In case of complex packages, direct coordination of the technical interface between internal departments and suppliers. Monitoring of the completion of the technical documentation and the document lists (both project document list and equipment supplier document list), in coordination with the document controller. Coordination of local expertise contractors, where applicable and according to the project structure. Coordination of external companies for the certification activity (e.g. EAC Declarations), where applicable; Coordination of external companies for engineering activity (e.g. structural design, civil design); Support to site activities for the resolution of technical problems that may arise in the construction and commissioning phases, the collection of the as-built documentation, the possible management of the punch list after the plant acceptance Other Significant Role Requirements: Languages: excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Personal skills: passion for one's work, organizational skills, planning and control of activities, result-oriented, "problem solving", ability to teamwork. Availability to travel to meet Customers, Suppliers, Site team during the year if required by the Project.
