Job Description

Role Overview: You are invited to apply for the role of Principal Consultant, Service Quality Engineer at Genpact. As a Service Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and managing the end-to-end RTB process and relevant activities for Credit and Lending systems following prescribed ITIL standards. Your role will involve handling major issues, incidents, problem records, change management, batch monitoring, issue resolution, service requests, and promoting a Site Reliability Engineering culture. Key Responsibilities: - Own and manage Incidents, Problem records, and Change management as per ITIL standards. - Manage major issues (P1 in nature) and ensure closure. - Handle and improve Batch monitoring, issue resolution, and Service requests. - Monitor and report on all aspects of Production processing. - Work closely with the Engineering/product team to automate Production processes. - Adopt Agile and DevOps principles. - Communicate effectively with various Business & IT teams. - Collaborate with global members to achieve desired outcomes. - Provide 24*7 support on rotation/need basis. - Ensure adherence to different SLAs. - Understand monitoring tools and enhance tooling for proactive handling of production issues. - Comply with audit, data protection & IT Security procedures. - Be open to learning new technologies based on project requirements. Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - B.Tech/B.E/MCA - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Experience with Big Data (Hadoop) principles is preferred. - Sound Knowledge of SQL, UNIX, HIVE, SPARK, PYSPARK, etc. - Knowledge of Python, Scala, Elastic is a plus. - Familiarity with Scheduling tools like Control-M, Airflow, etc. - Experience working in RTB/Production support teams. - Understanding of Banking domain and IT Infrastructure. - Good communication skills for collaboration with globally dispersed teams. - Hands-on experience and understanding of ITIL processes and standards. - Knowledge of tools like Service Now, JIRA, GITHUB is preferred. - Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
