Principal Consultant

As an Installation and Configuration specialist, your role involves installing and configuring various servers and server instances. This includes Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, and Web Server. You will also be responsible for setting up JAS/HTML Server, BSSV Server, and AIS Server instances on the Web Server. Additionally, you will need to install and configure Server Manager and its agents, create and execute installation plans, and perform post-installation log analysis and surface testing. Your responsibilities will also include performing upgrade activities such as application release upgrades, tools release upgrades, normal upgrades, and multi-foundation upgrades. You will be required to conduct surface testing of upgraded instances and promote and test objects in the upgraded ERP environment. In terms of User/Role Management, you will be responsible for creating user IDs, test and production roles, assigning environments to roles, assigning roles to users, resetting passwords for user IDs, and managing users and roles. You will also set up role sequencing and handle security management tasks like setting up security for different roles, configuring different types of securities, promoting security changes, and resolving security conflicts. Furthermore, your role will involve object management configuration, package management, change management, menu/task view management, job scheduling, web client/fat client management, ESU/ASU management, data source management, object configuration mappings, job queue setups, printer setups, infrastructure setups, monitoring activities, and maintenance activities.
