Description
As a Principal Client Project / Program Manager at NTT DATA, you will be a highly skilled subject matter expert responsible for leading and directing concurrent client projects classified as standard or complex. You will interface with all project stakeholders to take projects from original concept through to final implementation, ensuring client satisfaction, managing escalations, and acting as a single point of contact to the client. Your role will involve managing projects and programs within more complex accounts, collaborating with senior leadership, and coordinating the management of multiple related projects to achieve business objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and direct concurrent standard or complex projects, ensuring the management of multiple related projects directed towards a common objective. - Engage with senior leadership stakeholders to deliver projects from original concept through final implementation. - Ensure client satisfaction, manage escalations, and act as a single point of contact to the client. - Ensure project/program delivers as-sold solution, remains within the baselined budget, is delivered on time, and maintains quality criteria and client satisfaction. - Manage delivery of the project/program, including scope control and change management. - Document and manage project/program risks and issues. - Provide clear and concise communications to all stakeholders. - Provide pre-sales support, scope and cost project/program solutions, and complete proposals. - Identify opportunities, influence sales, and conduct business conversations with clients at senior leadership level. - Coordinate activities of project teams through task delegation, resource assignment, and program management. - Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the team to achieve required results. **Qualifications Required:** - Extended project management skills, including planning, organizing, and executing projects. - Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent team-building skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments. - Business acumen, commercial skills, and ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously. - Ability to promote project services internally and externally. - Competency in project change management. - Knowledge of industry, domain, or technology related to client projects. - Problem-solving and analytical skills to address issues during project implementation. **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, project management, or related field. - Relevant project management certifications, preferably PMP. - ITIL certification is beneficial. **Required Experience:** - Extended project/program management experience in a multi-national Professional Services environment. - Client engagement experience. - Understanding of project/program life cycle. - Competency in project/program change management. - Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints. **Workplace Type:** Hybrid Working NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
