As a Director, Data Analytics at Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain organization, your role will involve leading the analytics function for the spares supply chain. You will collaborate with cross-discipline teams, manage strategy and backlog, and drive insights to support supply chain and operations decisions. Your responsibilities will include: - Setting the vision and guiding technical approaches for leveraging data across the spares supply chain - Utilizing Azure Data technologies to enhance the speed, accuracy, and scalability of data analysis - Developing and maintaining relationships with program and business leaders to identify opportunities - Collaborating with other Microsoft Data Analytics and Data Engineering teams to deliver data-informed solutions - Creating and maintaining a data analytics roadmap - Recruiting, mentoring, and leading a high-performing analytics team focused on operational excellence and innovation - Establishing success measures to ensure achievement and accountability within the organization To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 15+ years of technical experience in data analysis and reporting, coding languages, business intelligence OR Master's degree with 12+ years of experience OR equivalent experience - 5+ years of product and/or program management experience - 5+ years of customer-facing, project-delivery experience - 5+ years of working in a data-intensive environment with experience in Microsoft Azure stack, SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric, Machine Learning, and AI - 5+ years of people-management experience to build and grow teams - Expertise in building and leading complex data platforms and solving business problems through statistical models Preferred qualifications include strong business acumen, skills in delivering engaging presentations, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous learning. You should also have the ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team culture. This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with ongoing applications accepted until filled.
