A Digital Multi-solution Architect would handle definition and consultation of technical solution over different areas of digital landscape like Web CMS, E-commerce, Digital Asset Management, Data Management Platform, integrations . Expect the person to be a fast learner getting insights into multiple application stacks that form part of the solution architecture.
- Develop a solution proposal for business requirement considering functional, integration, hosting and non-functional requirements
- Compare and contrast digital platforms and aid in platform selection for clients
- Ensure tech feasibility on implementing a solution considering technical feasibility and project constraints of scope of work, cost, timeline, team
- Strategize building of reusable code and libraries for future use
- Present new tech platforms and upcoming technology trends to tech teams
- Explore, socialize and spearhead implementation of tools and accelerators for building efficiencies
- Develop show & tell POCs and demos for new ideas/technology concepts
- Actively participate in hiring and capacity building

Architectural Design:
- Demonstrates the use of open source and commercial tools that may be used to create and model the logical architecture for an application.
- Should be well versed and have implemented Microservices and serverless architecture

Data Modeling & Database design:
- Demonstrates a good understanding of data modeling.
- Able to create a portion of the Logical Data Model (LDM) and/or Physical Data Model (PDM).
- Able to apply data modeling notations like Information Engineering (IE), Barker or UML.
- Able to apply data normalization techniques. Understands data modeling patterns.
- Should have done Database design for large multi-country, multi-language website
- Good understanding of Relational and Non-Relation databases
Network, Security, Infrastructure & high availability:
- Ability to understand security concepts, issues and resolutions
- Ability to define physical architecture for scalability
- Good understanding of atleast 2 leading App/webservers Nginx, IIS
- Should have used automated tools for unit testing, code review, automated build and deployment
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of high availability and failover applications and plays a lead role in at least one end-to-end design and implementation project that covers the relevant topics.
- Has hands-on implementation experience designing for redundancy to avoid single point of failure in solutions on at least one technology stack along with an ability to compare alternatives in a given situation and proposes the best solution for the need at hand within the technology stack options.
- Identifies effective solutions for complex business problems at each level of the application tier, which would include, but not be limited to, client standard operating environment definition, network, perimeter, security, and data redundancy.
- Proactively defines operational processes for maintaining backups, disaster recovery and business continuity, webservers, application servers, database servers, SAN and redundancy sites for large operations to ensure availability and failover.
- Demonstrates good knowledge of alternatives available across multiple technologies within the open source and commercial world, evaluates them, and successfully proposes the best solutions that fit clients needs.
- Should have planned and implemented CDN like Akamai
Performance and Capacity planning:
- Excellent solution design in one of AWS or Azure or Google Cloud platform using services
- Can explain performance and capacity planning concepts and processes
- Can performance tune applications using various runtime tools provided for at least one technology stack.
- Can actively manage profiling an application for thread management, resource locking, memory and cpu profiling, I/O profiling, race condition management, TPM-C measurement.
- Can drive the evaluation of performance monitoring tools based on open source or commercial products and recommend tools that are optimal for project requirements.
- Can carve out critical transactions of the system and map them to user and volume load.
- Can map out various performance criteria for critical transactions and generate inputs for generating the TPM-C statistics.
- Can develop tools and/or fact sheets and usage of industry wide techniques that would help mode and drive the TPM-C and the capacity requirements for the hardware.
- Good understanding of physical architecture. Experience in capacity planning, redundancy and high availability models
Core Development:
- Should have enough hands-on experience to design & implement POCs in Dot Net
- Should have got hands-on experience integrating webservices
- Good knowledge on .Net tech stack ASP.Net, C#,ODBC, multi-threading
- Good trouble shooting skills through analyzing thread and heap dumps
- Good experience with IDE &Source control like Visual Studio, Team foundation
