Principal Analyst/Associate Director - Equity Research

As a member of our Financial Research group, you will play a crucial role in shaping investment strategies on a global scale. Your work will involve conducting thorough research within the realms of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and Fundamental Equities (FIG), uncovering valuable opportunities that drive market movements. Collaborating closely with top-tier front-office teams, you will not only enhance your analytical skills but also contribute to impactful decisions that have far-reaching implications. Your primary responsibilities will include delving into detailed research on various companies and subsectors such as Banking, FIG, Specialty Finance, Housing, and Commercial Real Estate (CRE). You will be tasked with developing and refining intricate financial models, conducting valuations, and performing scenario analyses. Staying abreast of market developments, news updates, and sell-side research will be essential in providing robust support for investment theses. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating investment write-ups and presentations, as well as engaging with key stakeholders including management, intermediaries, and sector experts. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in equity or investment research, showcasing a strong foundation in financial modeling, accounting principles, and valuation techniques. An MBA, CFA, CA, or equivalent qualification in finance is highly preferred. Exposure to US, UK, or international markets will be advantageous.
