Principal Analyst - Model Development (Fraud Models)

Role Overview: You will be serving as a Principal Analyst - Fraud Model Development at FC Global Services India LLP, a global capability center based in Bengaluru. Your main responsibility will be to gather, organize, and analyze large data sets using statistical techniques and tools to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies. You will play a crucial role in supporting the bank's control groups and external vendors to ensure compliance with various controls and change management requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Perform data analysis by gathering, organizing, and sorting data to develop moderately complex data models. Access structured and unstructured systems across the organization, utilizing coding efforts where needed. - Develop and maintain databases and systems to ensure data is in a readable, organized format. Troubleshoot department information systems and identify process improvement opportunities. - Analyze and produce reporting for management regarding the Bank's risks, trends, patterns, and exceptions. Assist senior management with compiling committee presentations and risk assessments. - Provide operational support for the department by coordinating with external vendors or internal subject matter experts for technical inquiries. Qualifications Required: - 6-8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and related fields. - Bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information management, and finance. - Proficiency in spreadsheet and database knowledge. - Ability to analyze and visualize large sets of data, create and apply accurate algorithms, and knowledge of programming languages including SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, Python. - Proficiency in statistics, statistical packages, Tableau, and TeamMate. - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint presentations. - Excellent communication skills and ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize deliverables and assignments.
