Job Summary

Pallavi International School, Sagar Road, is seeking a passionate, child-centric, and skilled Primary Mathematics Teacher who can make mathematics engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable for young learners. The ideal candidate should foster conceptual understanding, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills through innovative and experiential teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines
• Build strong foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills among students
• Use activity-based, experiential, and real-life learning strategies to teach mathematical concepts
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate records
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs in the classroom
• Encourage a positive, inquiry-based learning environment
• Integrate technology and teaching aids effectively in lesson delivery
• Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development
• Participate actively in school events, trainings, and professional development programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics / Education or a related field
• B.Ed / D.El.Ed (mandatory as per CBSE norms)
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in primary classes (preferred)
• Strong command over Mathematics concepts and pedagogy for primary learners
