Pricing Analyst - Freight Forwarding

Role Description

Analyze client Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and prepare timely, competitive, and profitable freight cost calculations.

Source and negotiate the best possible rates from a network of airlines, shipping lines, truckers, and other service providers globally.

Accurately calculate all-inclusive rates, considering ocean freight/airfreight, fuel surcharges (BAF/FAF), currency adjustments, THC, customs clearance, local haulage, and any other applicable charges.

Maintain and update the internal pricing database and tariff sheets to ensure data integrity.

Collaborate closely with the Abu Dhabi-based sales and operations teams to understand specific customer needs and provide tailor-made solutions.

Prepare and send professional quotation documents to clients via email or the company system.

Follow up on submitted quotes and provide necessary support to the sales team to secure business.

Mandatory Requirements:

Must be based in Cochin, Kerala.

Must have a dedicated, quiet home office and own reliable workspace.

Must possess your own computer/laptop and a high-speed, uninterrupted internet connection.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a pricing or operations role within a freight forwarding company.

In-depth knowledge of international freight forwarding (FCL, LCL, Air Freight) and Incoterms® 2020.

Proven experience in negotiating rates with carriers and vendors.

Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and experience with freight forwarding software
