Job Description

A pre-sales telecaller's primary responsibility is to generate leads and qualify potential customers for a sales team by making outbound calls, handling inbound calls, and providing information about products or services. They also maintain customer databases, follow up on leads, and report on their activities.    Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation:

    Making outbound calls to potential customers to introduce products or services and qualify leads.   
  • Inbound Call Handling:

    Answering incoming calls and addressing customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues.   
  • Product/Service Knowledge:

    Developing a strong understanding of the company's offerings to effectively communicate their value to potential customers.   
  • Lead Qualification:

    Gathering information about potential customers' needs and determining if they are a good fit for the product or service.   
  • Relationship Building:

    Establishing rapport with potential customers through phone conversations and building a positive relationship.   
  • Appointment Setting:

    Scheduling appointments for sales representatives to meet with qualified leads.   
  • Database Management:

    Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and updating customer information in the CRM system.   
  • Sales Support:

    Assisting the sales team by providing them with qualified leads and supporting them in the sales process.   
  • Reporting:

    Preparing daily/weekly reports on call activity, lead status, and sales progress.   
  • Meeting Targets:

    Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and contributing to overall sales goals.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with potential customers and conveying information effectively.   
  • Sales Skills:

    Strong persuasive and negotiation skills to convert leads into sales opportunities.

    Ability to build rapport with customers and establish positive relationships.   
  • Customer Service Skills:

    Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.   
  • Technical Skills:

    Proficient in using CRM software and other tools to manage leads and track sales activity.   
  • Product Knowledge:

    Thorough understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate their value.   
  • Goal-Oriented:

    Ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.   
  • Time Management:

    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to handle a high volume of calls and follow-up activities.
