As a Presales Consultant/IT Manager at our Mumbai office, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process. Your responsibilities will include identifying customers" technical and business requirements, designing solutions, consulting with technical teams, and supporting sales teams and partners in proposal activities. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to attend client meetings, deliver technical presentations, provide product support to stakeholders, and contribute to the development of bespoke solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Attend client meetings to gather technical and business requirements for solution creation - Provide technical solutions in a timely and professional manner - Deliver technical presentations both internally and externally - Conduct training sessions on solutions and offer product support to channel partners - Collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback on existing products and input on new products - Build strong relationships internally and externally, keeping colleagues informed and fostering teamwork - Understand business drivers and risks to effectively sell technical solutions to customers - Respond to customer requests for information on RFIs and RFPs - Maintain high product knowledge through product training and best practices insight - Qualify and support in closing sales opportunities - Drive regional revenue through sales activities - Develop and maintain account plans with a technical focus - Ensure successful pilot projects and product installations - Address technical and business presales issues, escalating when necessary - Assist in regional business development activities - Install and maintain demos and software on presales equipment - Engage with corporate applications, emails, and communication tools Technical Expertise Desired: - Proficiency in Windows Servers, Databases, and End-user products - Strong knowledge of Virtualization technologies such as ESX, KVM, and HyperV - Familiarity with Windows and Linux server systems, network storage systems, and data center services - Experience in requirements gathering, design, and solution building in a commercial setting - Interest in routing, switching, Firewall, and general network infrastructure - Working knowledge of Cloud IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS Functional Area: - Provide technical solutions professionally and within agreed timeframes Reporting to: Manager Number of Persons Reporting to Candidate: Manager Position Requires Traveling: Yes (Field Calls) - Traveling allowance provided for client visits,
