Job Description

The Pre-Sales Technical Consultant plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by providing in-depth technical expertise, designing solutions, and delivering product demonstrations to potential clients. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer requirements, aligning solutions to meet their needs, and driving the technical aspects of the sales cycle to ensure successful deal closures. You will engage with channel partners and customers to comprehend their business needs and technical requirements. By designing and proposing tailored solutions that align with customer objectives, you will provide recommendations on product configurations, integrations, and best practices. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting technical product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and workshops. Creating compelling presentations to effectively showcase product capabilities will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with sales teams to develop winning strategies for customer engagements is crucial. You will address customer concerns, objections, and technical queries during the sales cycle, as well as assist in RFP/RFI responses and solution documentation. Furthermore, you will conduct training sessions for partners" pre-sales and sales teams on product features and technical selling points. Supporting customers in the onboarding process when necessary will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, or pre-sales engineering role. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Networking (Routing, Switching, Wireless), Cloud managed IT (Meraki, Aruba, Fortigate, etc.), and Unified Collaboration and Communication (UCC) is essential. Your ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach, will be critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach are also required. Preferred certifications include Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper, or other relevant technical certifications. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and the work location is in person.,
