Job Description

We are looking for a technically sound and customer-focused Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join our growing team. You will bridge the gap between our technical team and customers by providing tailored solutions, system designs, and support during the sales process. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and R&D to deliver optimized and feasible energy storage or industrial product solutions.

Specialising in ESS and BESS.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with the sales team to understand client requirements and translate them into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
  2. Design and configure custom solutions for ESS, BESS, EV batteries, or related power backup systems (as per client requirement).
  3. Prepare techno-commercial proposals, detailed specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
  4. Conduct site visits (if required) and feasibility studies to evaluate client infrastructure and integration possibilities.
  5. Deliver technical presentations and demos to clients and participate in RFP/RFQ responses.
  6. Liaise with internal R&D and production teams to ensure proposed solutions are manufacturable.
  7. Support in product testing, client trials, and pilot project coordination.
  8. Gather and share client feedback for continuous product improvement.


Required Skills

  1. Design custom ESS/BESS solutions
  2. Support B2B sales
  3. Create proposals
  4. Conduct Load Analysis & interface with clients for technical demos.
  5. Strong knowledge of energy systems: Lithium-ion batteries, inverters, BMS, and system sizing.
  6. Ability to read and create technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and solution layouts.
  7. Experience with electrical calculation tools and simulation software (e.g., HOMER, AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP preferred).
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills – both technical and business-focused.
  9. Hands-on attitude, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset.


Qualifications:

B-Tech / BBM / MBA in marketing
