Pre-Sales-QA Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Pre-Sales QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA automation with tools like Selenium and Java , coupled with experience in client interactions, product demonstrations, and solutioning in a pre-sales environment . You will bridge the gap between technical QA capabilities and customer needs by creating tailored automation demos, proof of concepts, and supporting the sales team with technical expertise. 🔹 Key Responsibilities QA Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage for all key features Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) Perform regression, functional, and integration testing as required Pre-Sales Work with the Sales/BD team to understand client requirements and present technical solutions Create and deliver tailored product demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and technical presentations Respond to RFPs/RFIs and provide input to solution proposals from a QA/Automation perspective Act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, translating business needs into technical solutions 🔹 Required Skills Strong experience in Java-based QA Automation Proficient with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or similar test frameworks Understanding of SDLC and STLC, including Agile methodologies Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions Ability to create compelling technical documentation and demo materials Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) 🔹 Nice To Have Experience with other automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc. Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) Background in performance testing (JMeter, Gatling) Prior experience in a sales engineering, solutions consultant, or pre-sales QA role Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP 🔹 Educational Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Skills: ci tools (jenkins),automation,selenium,testing,technical documentation,qa automation,version control (git),agile methodologies,sdlc,java,stlc,sales,communication skills,pre-sales,presentation skills,testng
