Pre-Sales-QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient

Pre-Sales QA Automation Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

QA automation

with tools like

Selenium and Java

, coupled with experience in client interactions, product demonstrations, and solutioning in a

pre-sales environment

. You will bridge the gap between technical QA capabilities and customer needs by creating tailored automation demos, proof of concepts, and supporting the sales team with technical expertise.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

QA Automation:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage for all key features
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Perform regression, functional, and integration testing as required
  

Pre-Sales

• Work with the Sales/BD team to understand client requirements and present technical solutions
• Create and deliver tailored product demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and technical presentations
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and provide input to solution proposals from a QA/Automation perspective
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, translating business needs into technical solutions
  

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java-based QA Automation
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or similar test frameworks
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC, including Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions
• Ability to create compelling technical documentation and demo materials
• Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins)
  

🔹 Nice To Have

• Experience with other automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Background in performance testing (JMeter, Gatling)
• Prior experience in a sales engineering, solutions consultant, or pre-sales QA role
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  

🔹 Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
