Description
As a Pre-Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Specialist at our company located in Sector 82, Mohali, your primary role will be to provide technical expertise to our sales team, understand customer needs, and showcase how our products and solutions can address those needs. You should possess strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, Networking, Server, Storage, ELV systems, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS, and related technologies. Additionally, you must have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the sales team to design customized solutions that utilize our products, services, and technology to meet client requirements. - Engage with prospective customers to grasp their business and technical needs, address queries, and deliver detailed product and solution presentations. - Conduct compelling product demonstrations highlighting the benefits of our solutions including IT infrastructure, Networking, Server, Storage, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm Systems, ELV, and BMS. - Assist in creating technical proposals, solution architectures, documentation, and scope of work to ensure alignment with client requirements. - Define and implement Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to validate proposed solutions. - Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from qualification to closing, by addressing technical concerns and ensuring solutions meet customer needs. - Assist in preparing and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) with clear and concise technical aspects. - Work closely with engineering, product, and technical support teams to integrate customer requirements with product offerings seamlessly. - Stay updated with industry trends, competitor solutions, and technological advancements to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients. - Ensure a smooth technical handoff to implementation and support teams post-sale to meet customer expectations. Desired Traits: - Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. - Experience: Minimum 2 years in a technical or presales engineering role focusing on IT infrastructure, Networking, Server, Storage, ELV systems, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS, or similar technologies. - Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, Networking, Server, Storage, Security Systems, and Building Management Systems. - Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts clearly. - Presentation Skills: Proven ability to present complex technical information effectively. - Customer-Focused: Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently. - Collaboration: Work effectively with different teams to deliver the best solutions. - Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT infrastructure, security systems, or systems integration are a plus. - Travel: Willingness to travel for customer meetings, product demonstrations, and events as required. - Passion for Technology: Enthusiasm for technology and innovative solutions. - Self-Motivated: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, able to work independently. - Proactive: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Team Player: Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams.
