Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Pre-Primary and Primary School Teacher (L.K.G., U.K.G., and Grades 1-5) at St. Joseph Inter College (Thakurganj Branch). The Teacher will be responsible for fostering foundational learning, planning engaging lessons, and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Effective communication and a passion for early childhood education are essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications

Relevant Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related fields (e.g., B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education).

Experience teaching L.K.G., U.K.G., or Grades 1-5 is preferred.

Strong communication skills with a focus on engaging young learners.

Proficiency in using classroom technology and digital teaching tools is a plus.

Creativity, patience, and a child-centred approach to education.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills.

Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
