About the Role: Lead Technology Specialist is responsible for the IT service delivery and operations fwith focus on maintaining the service levels, overseeing, and managing the IT infrastructure of the organization, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and reliability and IT security. Lead Technology Specialist is also responsible for new infra development in the region and liaison with other internal and external stakeholders including the leadership teams at US, Europe and India. He / she will also guide the team technically to provide complex IT solutions. The key responsibilities include: Leading and managing IT infrastructure teams: Overseeing the IT infrastructure support and work closely with the team to manage and provide solutions. Connect with the business leadership, understanding business requirements, maintain productive relationships with business, respond with agility and ensuring that the IT infrastructure meets their needs Developing, implementing and supporting network infrastructure: Aligning network infrastructure with Infosys overall business goals and objectives. Deep understanding of Zscaler: Proficient in managing Zscaler's cloud-based security solutions, including secure web gateways, zero-trust network access, and data loss prevention. Secured Network connectivity: Understanding and implementing various network connectivity models, such as VPNs, direct connect, cloud-based connectivity. Implementing and managing firewalls to protect the network from unauthorized access and malicious attacks. Expertise in SD-WAN: Implementing and managing software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solutions to optimize network performance and connectivity. Knowledge of network operations centers (NOCs): Overseeing the operations of NOCs, including monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating incident response. Knowledge of collaboration platforms: Understanding and managing collaboration platforms, such as Microsoft Teams or Google Workspace, ensuring their integration with the network infrastructure and video conferencing devices. Management of Webex platforms and integrating them with the organization's network infrastructure and collaboration tools. Staying updated on emerging technologies: Keeping abreast of the latest trends and innovations in IT infrastructure. Show more Show less
