PPC Manager

As a PPC (Production Planning and Control) Manager at FashionC Overseas Exports - Garment Manufacturing Exports House in Noida, your primary responsibility is to ensure that from the receipt of the buyer's purchase order to shipping, all submissions are completed on time. You will be required to create a Time and Action Calendar (TNA) and diligently follow it with daily reporting, line planning, and capacity planning. Your role will involve overseeing various stages including size set, PP supply, first 5 PES, production, finishing, and shipping. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement realistic production schedules based on order timelines. - Align production schedules with customer priorities and deadlines. - Review and adjust plans regularly based on capacity, material availability, and unforeseen delays. - Streamline communication between departments to ensure smooth operations. - Optimize the sequence of production activities for maximum efficiency. - Ensure raw material availability for all planned orders without overstocking. - Maintain an optimal inventory turnover ratio. - Reduce production costs through effective resource planning. - Minimize material, time, and labor wastage. - Coordinate effectively between design, production, quality, and merchandising teams. - Motivate and mentor planning and production teams. - Ensure team compliance with standard operating procedures. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications. - Monitor production processes for ethical practices and environmental compliance. - Prepare detailed reports on production metrics and recommend actionable solutions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 1. Production Efficiency and Output: - Planned vs. Actual Production - Production Line Efficiency - First-Pass Yield (FPY) 2. Delivery Timeliness: - On-Time Delivery (OTD) Rate - Lead Time 3. Cost Control and Profitability: - Cost Variance - Overtime Costs - Wastage Cost 4. Quality Control Metrics: - Rejection Rate - Customer Complaint Rate - Defect Rate - Training Effectiveness Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or related fields. - MBA or certification in Production Planning and Control is a plus. Skills: - Strong knowledge of garment production processes. - Proficiency in production planning software and tools. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
