Power Platform Solution Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Solution Architect with 10-15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Power Platform technologies and extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions that leverage Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design innovative, scalable solutions that drive digital transformation and business optimization. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, integrating with existing enterprise applications, data sources, and third-party services. Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to gather business requirements, provide technical leadership, and ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with best practices. Technical Leadership: Guide technical teams and provide mentorship in the implementation of Power Platform solutions. Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards. Customization and Integration: Customize and extend Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to address specific client needs. Integrate Power Platform applications with other enterprise systems such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party applications. Solution Optimization: Review and assess the performance of Power Platform solutions, identifying areas for optimization, scalability, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to ensure the success of projects. Provide regular updates on the progress, risks, and issues to senior management. Governance & Security: Establish best practices and governance models for managing Power Platform environments, ensuring security, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards. Proof of Concepts (POCs) & Demos: Design and deliver POCs, demonstrations, and presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing the capabilities of Power Platform solutions. Innovation & Research: Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, recommending new technologies, approaches, and tools to enhance business value. Key Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 10-15 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years focused on Power Platform architecture and solutions. Experience working in industries such as Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, or Public Sector is a plus. Power Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with the core components of the Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Familiarity with Power Apps Portals is a plus. Microsoft Stack Proficiency: Experience with the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics 365, Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and SQL Server. Proficiency in integrating Power Platform with these technologies. Solution Architecture: Proven experience in designing complex enterprise-level solutions using Power Platform and related technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Project Management: Ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, from discovery and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and post-deployment support. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies is preferred. Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with cloud-based services and platforms (Azure preferred) and understanding of cloud architecture principles. Development Skills: Familiarity with low-code/no-code development practices. Experience with advanced techniques using Power Automate and Power Apps (custom connectors, integrations, custom business logic, etc.). Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
