About the role:

We are seeking a SQL BI / Power BI Developer to join our Analytics team at Deloitte. Candidate must have at least 4-year hands-on experience working in service industry developing Power BI dashboards & SQL queries/database. The SQL BI / Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, monitoring, managing, and supporting Deloitte MIS platform. Your work will range from developing the MIS DB, reports, dashboards, and handling time-sensitive production issues such as restructuring MIS DB, building data warehouse modeling concept, automation initiatives and major platform changes. You'll work closely Finance Analytics team as well as with external counterparties and vendors.

Power BI & PowerApps

• Design, develop, and implement visually appealing and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Utilize Power Query, DAX, and other advanced Power BI features to transform and model data from various sources.
• Implement data visualizations, drill-down capabilities, and advanced filtering to facilitate data exploration and analysis & row-level-security (RLS).
• Designed Power BI data visualization utilizing cross tabs, maps, scatter plots, pie, bar and density charts.
• Design apps & workflows on PowerApps and Power automate.

SQL

• Over 4 years of experience in developing BI applications utilizing SQL, BI stack, Power BI.
• Experience in Azure SQL and Azure Data analytic tools.
• Having knowledge in Dimensional Data Modelling, Cube development and manipulations in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Proficient in Creating, configuring workflows designed in MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Developed SQL queries /scripts to validate the data such as checking duplicates, null values, truncated values and ensuring correct data aggregations.
• Performed data quality analysis using advanced SQL skills. Performed Count Validation, Dimensional Analysis, Statistical Analysis and Data Quality Validation in Data Migration.
• Experience in writing T-SQL Stored procedures, Triggers, Constraints, and Indexes using various DDL and DML commands.
• Developed T-SQL scripts for performing automation tasks, Performed and fine-tuned Stored Procedures and SQL Queries and User Defined Functions.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and including star schemas, snowflakes concepts.
• Proficient in designing and scheduling complex SSIS Packages for transferring data from multiple data sources and integrates data based on business logic and to load it in data warehouse.
• Maintaining the Log and Audit information in SQL tables, experienced in providing Logging, Error Handling by using Event Handler for SSIS Packages.
• Data Lake knowledge is a plus.
