Powder Coating Supervisor ( with Anodizing )

We are looking for a motivated Powder Coating Supervisor with at least 2 years of experience in powder coating and anodizing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise powder coating and anodizing activities on the shop floor to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor surface preparation, powder application, curing, and anodizing processes to maintain consistent quality.
• Assist in process optimization and recommend improvements for coating quality and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to identify defects like uneven coating, peeling, or discoloration and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of powders, chemicals, and consumables.
• Maintain equipment such as spray booths, curing ovens, and anodizing tanks; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Enforce safety rules and environmental regulations, ensuring team members use PPE and follow best practices.
• Guide and support coating operators and technicians, ensuring proper training and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Keep accurate records of production batches, quality checks, and daily activities.
• Coordinate with production planning and maintenance teams to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training sessions.

Desired profile:

• Diploma / ITI / Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical / Chemical / Surface Coating or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in powder coating and anodizing processes.
• Basic understanding of powder coating techniques, anodizing procedures, and surface preparation.
• Knowledge of coating defects, troubleshooting, and quality control methods.
• Ability to supervise a small team and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
• Awareness of safety and environmental compliance in surface treatment operations.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficient in basic MS Office (for reporting purposes).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with powder coating equipment and anodizing tanks.
• Exposure to color matching and thickness measurement tools.
• Ability to assist with process documentation and training.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
