Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Support the delivery and implementation of scalable Retail PoS solutions and other digital initiatives helping with installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Creation of technical documentation where required.
Planning any infrastructure patch upgrades and configuration updates to minimise the disruption.
Proactively help to identify and resolve production and non-production application/infrastructure issues to ensure we have a stable and highly performant platform.
Provide 3rd line applications support and help troubleshoot/resolve incidents.
Influence the technical direction of the team, making recommended changes to improve established processes, tools and techniques.
Working knowledge of relational databases, especially MariaDB and SQL.
Proven ability to debug Applications using logs, Windows & Linux servers and basic understanding of network, infrastructure.
Experience in configuration management is desirable.
Windows Server working knowledge is essential.
Linux and Docker experience are desirable.
Experience with an endpoint management tool is essential
AWS knowledge, especially Serverless (Lambda, SQS etc) an advantage.
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell ) is essential.
Strong SQL Knowledge
