Policy Enforcement Manager, Trust and Safety, YouTube

Role Overview: You will be joining YouTube's Trust and Safety team as a Policy Enforcement Manager (PEM) dedicated to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). This role involves implementing and enforcing YPP policies across millions of channels. Your responsibilities will include working cross-functionally to develop and operationalize policies that minimize brand risk to the platform and ensure clear communication to creators. You will also review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in accordance with YouTube's community guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate an understanding of how YPP policies impact YouTube users, platform changes, and new product launches. - Conduct daily content reviews in alignment with YouTube's YPP policies, which may involve exposure to sensitive content. - Manage policy enforcement escalations, develop new enforcement guidelines for YPP, and provide training to reviewers. - Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve tooling across YPP workflows. - Support the launch of new enforcement process solutions across Trust and Safety teams. - Develop, update, and scale YPP policies and operations with a focus on quality. - Coordinate with global vendors to enforce YPP policies. - Be available for non-standard on-call rotations on weekends and holidays, managing escalations and ensuring high-quality enforcement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields. - Master's degree in a relevant field preferred. - Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or scripting/programming language (e.g., Python). - Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content. - Experience in driving large, cross-functional projects, creating new processes, and iterating on existing workflows. - Excellent technical and problem-solving skills to frame solutions using data. - Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.,
