JSE is one of the few firms equipped with a 3D modeling team that delivers clash-free, coordinated models and detailed drawings for building services projects. Their innovative approach ensures precision and efficiency in architectural and construction processes.

Role Description

The Plumbing BIM Modeler will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create detailed plumbing-specific 3D models and generate accurate construction drawings. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining MEP system layouts, collaborating with other team members to ensure coordination between disciplines, and solving design-related challenges. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Tirunelveli, requiring close collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and experience in developing 3D models for construction projects
  • Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within building services
  • Skills in creating and interpreting construction drawings, sections, and specifications
  • Knowledge or experience with architecture and design processes
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate, clash-free coordinated models
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior on-site experience in MEP modeling or related construction roles is an advantage
