Role & responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for VPS, HLTM, and VFS platforms
  
• Implement new features and enhancements based on business and customer requirements
  
• Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability
  

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

• Analyze and resolve software bugs, system errors, and performance issues
  
• Provide root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
  
• Support deployment, upgrades, and system maintenance activities
  

Customer Support

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
  
• Understand customer issues and offer timely, effective solutions
  
• Assist in user training, documentation, and usage guidance when required
  

Software Standardization

• Develop and maintain standardized coding practices and software development processes
  
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, quality guidelines, and documentation norms
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and support workflows
  

Project Planning & Time Management

• Participate in project planning, task estimation, and scheduling
  
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently to meet project timelines
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
  

Preferred candidate profile

Essential Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience in software development for PLC/SCADA systems using Siemens and/or Mitsubishi platforms
  
• Maintenance-only engineers should not be considered; the role requires active development, configuration, and programming experience
  
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication and device integration
  
• Experience working with multiple industrial communication protocols,
  
• Proven ability to integrate and troubleshoot communication between PLCs and external devices
  
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  
• Experience in technical documentation.
