KML Sensors, part of the Kalaimakal Group of companies, is India's first laser sensor company, headquartered in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Krishnagiri for a PLC Programmer. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for developing and programming PLCs for automation systems, optimizing existing code, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure seamless operations. Daily tasks include designing control systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, testing system functionality, and maintaining proper documentation for all programming and system updates.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram
• Experience with industrial automation equipment and systems integration
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and motion programming in automation systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and refine control systems
• Strong ability to document technical processes and design modifications
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams
• Qualified with a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or similar field
• Familiarity with 3D Laser Vision Systems and welding applications is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Siemens Tia portal.
