PLC Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and maintain automation systems including PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Configure, integrate, and commission control systems for various industrial applications.
• Troubleshoot automation equipment and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create efficient, scalable automation solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation such as system specifications, manuals, operational procedures, and project reports.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in industrial automation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in industrial automation and controls.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
• Experience with SCADA systems (Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk, etc.).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
