Description
The Platform Manager DCM (L09) at Synchrony plays a crucial role in overseeing the creation, updating, and maintenance of various content and communications for the Cardholder Documents Team. Utilizing Marketing Technology such as Docu-Nova, you will be responsible for accurately creating, updating, and delivering customer-required communications while leading initiatives. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a high level of accuracy in templates, content blocks, and documents, maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines, client requirements, brand standards, and channel specifications. Additionally, you will manage the tactical execution of online and printed templates for internal clients using Workfront to obtain necessary approvals. Your role will involve creating or modifying XML, Schema Definitions (XSD), and other elements to enhance content blocks, templates, and documents. As the ideal candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Services, or Information Technology, with at least 4 years of experience in the field. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required. You should possess 2-3 years of experience with XML, XSD, Data Model, and JavaScript, along with 3+ years of expertise in HTML, CSS, and Oracle Database. A strong background in Project Management, preferably in Agile methodology, is essential. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills will be beneficial in engaging and informing team members, alongside strong problem-solving and reporting abilities. Desirable skills include analytical thinking, Adobe InDesign experience, a Master's degree in a related field, prior experience supporting Marketing functions, familiarity with Financial Services, Oracle database expertise, and experience working in a highly regulated business environment. This role requires availability between 06:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Time, with flexibility in remaining hours for the employee to choose. Enhanced Flexibility and Choice are offered in Synchrony India, with timings anchored to US Eastern hours and adjustments made locally twice a year. Occasional exceptions may apply based on business needs.
