Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and platform services to support application development and deployment.
  
• Develop and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve platform reliability and developer efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
  
• Manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and container registries.
  
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity; proactively address bottlenecks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
  
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and container environments.
  
• Familiarity with database management and caching technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.).
  
• Experience with distributed systems and fault-tolerant architectures.
  
• Certifications such as

  AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  ,

  Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

  , or similar.
