Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Platform Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). They should also possess expertise in configuring and optimizing Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Configure and optimize Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.
Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.
Implement and manage API Gateways for secure and efficient API management.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.
Ensure system security, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and security issues.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to enhance platform capabilities.
Stay updated with the latest cloud-native and DevOps best practices.

Job Requirements

Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
Expertise in Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and high availability.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Experience working with API Gateways (Azure API Management, Kong, or similar tools).
Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
Experience with Helm, Terraform, or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
