Platform Director

Role Overview: As the Platform Director, your main responsibility is to lead a set of technology platforms that support a specific business function, such as Finance. You will collaborate with the business to oversee the end-to-end delivery, deployment, and support of all applications within this domain, ensuring that these platforms deliver business value. Additionally, you will serve as the primary interface between technology and the business function. Key Responsibilities: - Own the technology agenda and roadmap, collaborating with the business to facilitate the delivery and evolution of platforms, including applications, integration, data management, and infrastructure. - Support business leadership in managing the technology aspects of key programs. - Develop and maintain the target systems architecture (enterprise, application, integration, data, and infrastructure) for the platforms under your purview. - Work with the business function to offer solutions to markets and brands aligned with the business strategy. - Lead teams in delivering and supporting applications, infrastructure, integration, and data management solutions. - Oversee the performance of all technology vendors and service providers within the designated space. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. - Extensive experience in technology leadership roles, particularly in managing platforms and driving technology strategy. - Proven track record of successful collaboration with business functions to deliver technological solutions in alignment with business objectives. - Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application development, integration, data management, and infrastructure. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve technology goals effectively. - Experience in vendor and service provider management within a technology environment.
