Platform Architect

As a candidate for the position, you will play a crucial role in creating target solution architecture for modernization and transformation initiatives related to core insurance platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with Business and IT stakeholders to seek approvals for proposed architecture - Designing and architecting cost-effective solutions that meet key business requirements and timelines - Selecting, architecting, and optimizing solutions using cloud services, with a preference for AWS - Collaborating with various IT teams to ensure the proposed design is implemented without deviations - Being accountable for addressing any technical impediments that may arise in the proposed solution - Responding to technical issues in a professional and timely manner For this role, specialized knowledge and qualifications are essential: - 15+ years of experience in a large IT organization with a strong background in insurance, including 3-5 years in a solution design and architect role - Preference for experience with Policy admin systems - Experience in leading modernization and digital transformation projects - Ability to integrate on-premise applications with Cloud infrastructure - Strong understanding of security requirements and infrastructure design - Proven experience in using Agile approach for development, with frequent sprints for business benefits realization - Experience in leading the design and/or development of solutions with a virtual team in remote locations - Appreciation and achievement in selecting appropriate tools for platform delivery - Understanding of the Financial Services industry at the regional level, with a preference for industry experience in Individual Life, Asset Management, Pension, and Group Business - Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage conversations at all levels of senior management Please note that the job category for this position is IT - Application Development.,
