Platform Administrator – QlikSense Cloud

Job Summary

• Perform installation, configuration, and administration of assigned BI platforms (Spotfire / QlikSense / Tableau / Power BI)
• Manage user onboarding, roles, access permissions, and security policies
• Monitor server health, usage, and performance, ensuring high availability
• Troubleshoot connectivity and data refresh issues across multiple environments
• Implement data governance and compliance practices in collaboration with IT and data teams
• Maintain and optimize gateway connections, data sources, and content publishing
• Support patching, upgrades, and backup/recovery procedures for BI platforms
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or scripting tools (where applicable)
• Provide technical support and documentation for users and business stakeholders

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a BI Platform Administrator
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following:
• Spotfire Administration
• QlikSense Cloud Administration
• Tableau Server / Power BI Service Administration
• Solid understanding of user management, security models, and access control
• Experience with data source configurations (SQL Server, Azure, etc)
• Proficiency in system performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and client coordination skills (UK shift coverage required)

Good to Have

• Exposure to multiple BI platforms or cloud migrations.
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with Azure / AWS cloud infrastructure.
