Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer with 58 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in system architecture, code quality, and mentoring junior developers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex PHP-based web applications
Lead backend development and contribute to system architecture decisions
Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
Review code and mentor junior and mid-level developers
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and product teams
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–8 years of proven experience in PHP development
Strong expertise in PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
In-depth knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
Solid understanding of web security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization
Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, or other caching systems
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
