Job Summary: Solidus Techno Power Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head to lead the complete setup and operations of its upcoming Solar Panel Module Manufacturing Unit. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end establishment of the plant from infrastructure planning, machinery procurement, installation & commissioning to production ramp-up and team building. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in solar PV module manufacturing with experience in greenfield projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the greenfield plant setup for solar panel module manufacturing from scratch. Coordinate with civil consultants, architects, and vendors for plant infrastructure development. Evaluate, select, and procure machinery and equipment for the module line (including stringers, laminators, testers, etc.). Ensure timely installation, commissioning, and readiness of the production line. Establish SOPs and quality control processes for efficient plant operations. Drive production planning, process optimization, and cost efficiency. Ensure adherence to global quality standards (like IEC, MNRE, BIS). Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and safety practices. Develop the plant operations team across functions (production, maintenance, quality, logistics, etc.). Provide leadership and direction to achieve plant performance goals (output, quality, cost, delivery). Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations. Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and internal management teams for necessary approvals and coordination. Support management in strategic planning related to capacity, technology, and expansion. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and recommend technology upgrades. Key Requirements: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in solar PV module manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head or similar leadership role. Hands-on experience in setting up new manufacturing plants (greenfield projects). Strong knowledge of solar panel manufacturing processes (mono, poly, PERC, etc.). Familiarity with production equipment, utilities, plant layout, and automation. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience in setting up a fully automated solar module manufacturing line . Exposure to international quality and environmental standards . Familiarity with supply chain and vendor management related to solar industry. Provide leadership and direction to achieve plant performance goals (output, quality, cost, delivery).
