Plant Head (Machining)
Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Salary: ₹60,000
Job Responsibilities:
Overall management and supervision of plant operations and production activities.
Plan, organize, and monitor machining processes to meet production targets.
Ensure quality standards through incoming and in-process inspections.
Implement and monitor MSA, PFA (Process Failure Analysis), and quality control systems.
Manage production planning, inventory, and resource allocation.
Lead and mentor engineering, production, and quality teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and senior management.
Monitor equipment maintenance and optimize machine utilization.
Requirements:
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
More than 10 years of experience in machining industry with leadership role.
Must have expertise in incoming inspection, in-process inspection, PFA, MSA, and Profile Projector.
Strong knowledge of CNC, VMC, and other machining operations.
Experience in production planning, quality management, and team leadership.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, GD&T, and ISO standards.
Excellent management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
