Plant Head - Dry Fruit, Nuts & Seeds Manufacturing - Vadodara

As the Plant Head at our food processing facility in Vadodara, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing all plant operations including roasting, de-skinning, sorting, packaging, and dispatch processes - Driving production planning to meet quality and efficiency targets - Implementing and maintaining food safety systems such as FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSC 22000 - Monitoring key performance indicators, reducing waste, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, 5S, and Kaizen - Managing raw material inventory, coordinating with stores/procurement, and ensuring compliance with regulations - Leading audits and maintaining accurate production documentation To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - A Masters degree in Food Science or a related field is mandatory - Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant/operations management within the food industry, preferably in roasted nuts/snacks segment - Strong leadership qualities, decision-making skills, and problem-solving abilities - In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and audit protocols This position offers a competitive salary based on your experience level and is a full-time, permanent role that requires in-person work at our Vadodara location.
