Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead daily factory operations: production, maintenance, quality, and logistics
Implement production schedules and ensure timely output
Optimize manufacturing processes and machine performance
Oversee handling and processing of PBAT, PLA, and other biopolymer raw materials
Ensure strict compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO, compostable certifications)
Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
Manage procurement, inventory, and cost control
Lead, mentor, and evaluate plant staff
Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance
Collaborate with R&D, sales, and supply chain for smooth production alignment

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, or related field
5–12 years of experience in manufacturing (plastic, polymer, biopolymers, packaging)
Hands-on experience with:

Twin Screw Extruders
Blown Film Extrusion (45mm, 55mm)
Bottom & Side Sealing Machines

Strong knowledge of PBAT, PLA, and compounding processes
Certifications in safety/quality preferred
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
