Role & responsibilities

Role Overview

Plant Head

Key Responsibilities

Lead the establishment and commissioning of a
manufacturing facility at Chakan
.
Oversee the maintenance and performance of machines, dies, tools, and production lines.
Implement and sustain best-in-class manufacturing practices and process control systems.
Coordinate with external partners for services related to
sales, logistics, IT, HR, and legal
functions.
Track and improve production output, quality standards, and overall plant efficiency metrics.
Manage
P&L accountability
, budgets, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with corporate reporting and operational standards.
Build and mentor a high-performing operations team focused on productivity, quality, and safety.

Qualification & Experience

Education:
Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
1520 years in plant operations and technical management, preferably in the
rubber, plastics, or automotive manufacturing
sector.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in tooling and retooling, production planning, preventive maintenance, and process optimization.
Language:
Knowledge of
Marathi
preferred for effective communication with local teams and authorities.
