The role involves overseeing automation and robotics projects — from manufacturing and assembly to on-site integration and commissioning. You will coordinate between design, manufacturing, and programming teams, manage project documentation and timelines, and support PLC and robot programming activities when required. Key Responsibilities: Drive automation and robotics projects through all stages — design, build, and implementation. Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and testing activities on the shop floor. Support PLC and robot programming teams as needed. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records . Coordinate with clients for updates, approvals, and project discussions. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Participate in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of robotic systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation Engineering . 1–3 years of experience in automation or robotics projects preferred. Basic knowledge of PLC and robot programming . Strong project coordination and organizational skills. Good communication and client interaction ability. Job Description: Plant Head Position: Plant Head Department: Operations / Manufacturing Location: Bhosari pune Role Overview: The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing the complete manufacturing plant operations, ensuring smooth production, efficient utilization of resources, quality output, and timely delivery. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of VMC/CNC machining, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and automation projects. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant & Operations Management Oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring daily production targets are met. Manage VMC, CNC, and related machining operations with high efficiency and quality. Plan and execute manufacturing schedules, shift plans, and manpower allocation. Ensure proper machine planning, preventive maintenance, and machine utilization. 2. Automation & Projects Lead and implement automation projects within the plant to improve productivity. Coordinate with design, maintenance, and automation teams for project execution. Evaluate new technologies and suggest improvements for process optimization. 3. People & Team Management Manage and motivate shop-floor teams, supervisors, and shift leaders. Maintain discipline, teamwork, and a safe working environment. Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members. 4. Planning & Coordination Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manufacturing plans based on customer requirements. Coordinate with supply chain, quality, and management teams for smooth workflow. Monitor production KPIs and prepare operational reports for senior management. 5. Customer Interaction Serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding production updates, quality issues, and delivery commitments. Address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. 6. Management & Compliance Oversee documentation, ISO compliance, and company policies. Monitor cost control, wastage reduction, and overall operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. --- Qualifications & Skills: Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or related field). 7–15+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in VMC/CNC or precision machining. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. Experience in automation projects is an added advantage. Proficiency in production planning and shop-floor management. Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions.
