We are seeking a skilled and proactive Plant Maintenance Engineer to oversee and execute maintenance activities for machinery and utility systems in our packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, installation, plant operations, utilities, and team management. This role is critical to ensure minimal downtime, smooth plant operations, and high efficiency.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of all packaging machinery and plant equipment.
- Execute installation and commissioning of new machines, including layout planning and utility connections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related breakdowns to ensure minimum downtime.
- Operate and maintain plant utility systems such as compressors, chillers, HVAC, power supply, and water systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and spares inventory.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with the production team for planned maintenance activities and equipment upgrades.
